The Catrina is an iconic figure associated with the Day of the Dead, a traditional Mexican holiday iconic figure, Dia de Muertos the holiday honoring the dead. Although a skeletal figure, the Catrina is generally depicted in a festive and joyful manner rather than being frightening.

The mask is a moving part that opens and closing with gears.

We make this pendant in solid Silver 925 or 14k solid yellow gold.

A 70cm fabric waxed cord with a silver adjustable clasp barrel is included.

About our silver 925 Jewelry plating:

We add as a standard a heavy coat of 40 microns 18k Gold plating & 25 microns for white and black rhodium plating .
40 micro-inches is a relatively thick layer of gold plating and will last many years if not a lifetime if you take care of it correctly.
