The front of the medallion presents a powerful, high-relief sculpted scene of the wild Cretan Bull. Captured in motion, the bull stands firm on rugged terrain, its massive horns and muscular body rendered with exquisite detail. Flanking the central figure are iconic, high-relief horns of consecration, and a stylized, abstract Knossos architectural detail. A prominent figure of an eagle is visible near the top bail connection on this side, standing guard.

Flip the pendant to reveal another detailed high-relief composition. This side presents a complex, balanced arrangement of the Knossos throne room. Positioned against a background of ancient, swirling cloud motifs and the specific palace columns is a detailed, high-relief portrayal of the central throne. Flanking this composition are two majestic, facing eagles with wings spread wide, standing upon swirling water at the base.

About our plating methods on silver 925:
We add as a standard a heavy coat of .40 microns 18k Gold plating & .25 microns for white and black rhodium plating .
.40 micro inches is a relatively thick layer of gold plating and will last many years if not a lifetime if you take care of it correctly.
